Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. We are looking for an experienced Lead Dental Assistant, or someone with the drive and potential to grow into a leadership role within our clinical team.
This position plays a vital role in supporting our doctors, maintaining clinical efficiency, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, clinically skilled, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Chairside assisting during dental and surgical procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and operating areas for upcoming procedures.
- Pass sterilized instruments and maintain smooth clinical flow.
- Take dental radiographs including X-rays, Panorex, and Cone Beam CT scans.
- Review patient health histories and assist with patient education.
- Wash, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment.
- Test, monitor, and clean autoclaves.
- Track and manage implants and clinical materials.
- Stock and clean operatories throughout the day.
- Ensure OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols are consistently followed.
- Maintain emergency equipment, oxygen, CPR readiness, and related supplies.
Administrative & Operational Responsibilities:
- Help maintain schedule balance and optimize patient flow.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Order, organize, and maintain dental supplies and inventory.
- Monitor inventory usage and assist with budget-conscious ordering.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
- Support communication between doctors, front office staff, and patients.
- Assist in creating a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting experience required; surgical experience preferred.
- Lead Dental Assistant experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.

Pay: $27.00 - $32.00 per hour
