Friday: 7:45 AM – 2:00 PM

Overview:
We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and team-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. We are looking for an experienced Lead Dental Assistant, or someone with the drive and potential to grow into a leadership role within our clinical team.

This position plays a vital role in supporting our doctors, maintaining clinical efficiency, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience from start to finish. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, clinically skilled, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Chairside assisting during dental and surgical procedures.
  • Prepare treatment rooms and operating areas for upcoming procedures.
  • Pass sterilized instruments and maintain smooth clinical flow.
  • Take dental radiographs including X-rays, Panorex, and Cone Beam CT scans.
  • Review patient health histories and assist with patient education.
  • Wash, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment.
  • Test, monitor, and clean autoclaves.
  • Track and manage implants and clinical materials.
  • Stock and clean operatories throughout the day.
  • Ensure OSHA, infection control, and safety protocols are consistently followed.
  • Maintain emergency equipment, oxygen, CPR readiness, and related supplies.
Administrative & Operational Responsibilities:
  • Help maintain schedule balance and optimize patient flow.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Order, organize, and maintain dental supplies and inventory.
  • Monitor inventory usage and assist with budget-conscious ordering.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation.
  • Support communication between doctors, front office staff, and patients.
  • Assist in creating a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:
  • Dental assisting experience required; surgical experience preferred.
  • Lead Dental Assistant experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
